NEPHRON IN HUMAN BODY

 NEPHRON is the microscopic structural and functional unit of the kidney. It is composed of a renal corpuscle and a renal tubule.

Several studies shows that nephron(glomerular)number varies widely in normal human kidneys. Where as the research shows that average number of nephron approximately 900,000 to 1 million per kidney, and different numbers range from 200,000 to less than 2.5 million

                              four components of nephron are:

                                *renal corpuscle

                                *proximal convoluted tubule

                                *loop of Henle.

                                *distal convoluted tubule.

the nephrons works through two step process 1. the glomerulus filters your blood, and the tubule return the needed substances to your blood and remove the waste from your blood.
